Extremely porous filter media designed to be used in Marine and Freshwater aquariums and systems with a pH of 7.5 or greater. High surface area allows for bacterial colonization which leads to reduced levels of toxic ammonia, nitrites and nitrates, phosphates, and organic pollutants. Works well in systems of all sizes including nano aquariums and systems with live rock. Can be used in a canister filter, reactor, or other type of filter with good water flow. Made in the USA.
