Extra Low Port D

The Extra Low Port D-Ring Bit features a small raised port in the center of the mouthpiece, providing mild tongue relief while maintaining contact with the bars. The D-ring cheekpieces provide lateral stability and prevent the bit from sliding through the horse’s mouth, supporting clear and consistent rein aids. Ideal for horses with a fleshy tongue or low palate that benefit from steady contact and mild tongue relief. Key Features of the Extra Low Port Mouthpiece : Anatomical Fit : The straight mouthpiece follows the natural contours of the horse’s mouth, providing even contact across the bars and tongue. Tongue Space : The extra low port creates room for the tongue, reducing interference and allowing a more natural, relaxed position. Balanced Pressure : Pressure is distributed evenly across the mouth, supporting consistent rein contact. D-Ring Design Features: Lateral Stability : The fixed D-shaped rings provide lateral stability, preventing the bit from sliding through the horse’s mouth and offering more precise control during turns. Direct Communication : The D-Ring allows for a more stable and direct connection between the rider's hands and the horse’s mouth, making it suitable for horses that need clearer guidance and more consistent contact. Gentle Guidance : While providing stability, the D-Ring design ensures smooth and gentle communication between horse and rider, encouraging responsiveness without discomfort.
