Milliseconds That Matter EEG experiments require precise timing between external stimuli (experimental markers) and the data stream. The OpenBCI Trigger Kit simplifies several types of experimental markers, including:  Button presses - Record participant responses directly in the data stream. Button triggers can be used to mark decisions, reactions, task completions, or other behavioral events. Photoresistor triggers - Easier synchronization for P300 experiments, and other neurofeedback paradigms such as SSVEP, ERP, and Auditory-Evoked Potentials. Simply place photoresistor module in front of the visual stimulus. Connect and Record in 3..2..1.. Choose what fits your paradigm: Photoresistor Module for visual stimulus detection, Button Module for subject or experimenter response, or a Custom Input such as PPG (Heart Rate). Use one, or combine all, connected to your Cyton through the Trigger Module.
