Exquisite Orbit Watercolor Print

This intricate and captivating watercolor painting shows a top down view dissection of the right orbit (you can also see part of the top of the skull). The dissection reveals the orbital nerves and surrounding anatomy, including the eye. It’s a complex and delicate system that is a perfect representation of how incredibly amazing our bodies are!  This painting is part of my Exquisite Anatomy Collection. What makes it special is that I used real dissection photos, not illustrations for reference. When I saw the internal anatomy for the first time in my cadaver labs in school, I realized how deceptively chaotic and haphazard everything looks. My goal with this collection is to show the true beauty of the structures and functions that make us possible, and to show it in the most beautiful way possible.  This is the perfect print for an Ophthalmologist or any eye doctor’s office! © 2019 Lyon Road Art.
