The Expulsion from Paradise

In The Expulsion from Paradise - Andrius Miezis reimagines the biblical fall through a surreal carnival of color and emotion. A fantastical creature hovers in a dreamlike void, its human face framed by the body of a whimsical monster. Around it bloom radiant flowers - symbols of life and beauty - while above, a cloud of pastel orbs floats like forgotten thoughts or fading memories. The creature’s wide, imploring eyes and gaping mouth speak of confusion and loss - not rage, but the tender bewilderment of being cast into a strange new reality. Paradise, here, is not lost through sin but through transformation - the innocence of one world giving way to the complexity of another. Miezis turns exile into evolution - the fall into creation. In this kaleidoscopic vision, paradise is never truly gone - it simply changes its form, waiting to be rediscovered within imagination itself.
