2" Comet Hunter Focuser - Includes Extension Tubes

Description Explore Scientific™ David H. Levy Comet Hunter Telescope is rich in quality components. Among those is the 2? Comet Hunter Focuser, which also can be purchased separately. This dual-speed, Crayford-style focuser comes with a 2" compression ring eyepiece adapter for added versatility. This adapter allows your 2" eyepiece or barreled accessory to lock securely into place with three set screws that ensure everything will stay in place. The heavy-duty focuser has 10:1 micro-focusing knobs as well as a rough focus knob. The focus knobs themselves are large and knurled, so that you can grip them easily, even when your hands are cold or you are wearing gloves. The focuser also offers tension adjustment that allows you to lock and/or adjust the tension on the drawtube. This is a nice feature that comes in handy when you increase or decrease the weight of eyepieces, cameras or other accessories. In addition to its smooth movement, this comes with extension tubes that allow users to adjust the back focus when using different eyepieces or a camera.
