Innovative Detector Challenge

Features Learn how metal detectors work Build a handheld metal detector with adjustable sensitivity Discover how security checkpoints function by assembling a mini version Explore the effects of parabolic motion on metal detection with an aim-and-shoot game Test your hand-eye coordination by creating fun maze challenges Description Explore the relationship between electricity and magnetism with this metal detector challenge set from Explore Science. Using the components, users can build a handheld metal detector with adjustable sensitivity, a mini security check station, or an aim and shoot challenge designed to demonstrate how parabolic motion affects detection. In addition to the detector challenges, junior scientists can test their hand-eye coordination and learn basic circuitry principles by building a simple maze game using a bendable wire, a wand and an alarm bell.  (4) AA Batteries required - Not Included Manual To download printable PDF manual Click Here CA Residents: Prop 65 WARNING(S)
