Exo Terra Digital Hygrometer

As an exotic pet owner, keeping track of humidity levels in your pet's terrarium is crucial. Reptiles and amphibians are often very sensitive to moisture levels, requiring either high humidity to stay hydrated or low humidity to prevent illness. While analog hygrometers are an option, digital versions typically offer superior precision. The Exo Terra Digital Hygrometer features a remote sensor for reliable measurements and long-lasting performance. This advanced tool includes a programmable memory for minimum and maximum humidity settings, easily adjustable with one button. The sensor attaches securely with a suction cup, and the device can be mounted using the included hook & loop fastener or by sliding it into an Exo Terra Compact Top or Linear Fluorescent Top. Provides precise humidity monitoring for your pet’s well-being Equipped with a remote sensor for exact readings Easy-to-use hook and loop fastener for convenient setup Features memory for minimum and maximum humidity levels Compatible with Exo Terra Compact Top and Linear Fluorescent Top Canopies Dimensions: Approx. 0.8" x 5" x 7.8" Requires 1 x AG13/357A coin battery. Instructions: To monitor terrarium humidity: 1. Unpack the device and insert the AG13/357A battery as directed. 2. Choose a central spot in the terrarium to measure humidity, positioning the probe with the provided suction cup for stability. 3. For Exo Terra Compact Top or Linear Fluorescent Top owners, slide the unit into place; otherwise, secure it using the hook and loop fastener. FAQ 1. Will the probe still give accurate readings if it gets wet? No, if the probe becomes wet, dry it completely and wait a few minutes before taking a new reading. 2. Does a digital hygrometer measure relative or absolute humidity? Humidity measured in percentages is always relative, regardless of whether the device is digital or analog. 3. What is the ideal placement for the probe to get the best reading? It varies; for overall enclosure humidity, place the probe between the warm and cool sides. For a basking area, position it centrally between the basking light and spot, near where your reptile spends time. For additional queries, submit them below, and we’ll respond promptly.
