KILOGEAR BASEBALL EXIT VELOCITY KIT

Exit velocity and bat speed are generated through explosive rotational power and efficient force transfer through the kinetic chain. In baseball hitting, power begins in the lower body and moves through the hips, core, and upper body before transferring into the hands and bat. The key muscle groups responsible for this movement include the glutes, hips, quadriceps, and calves, which generate ground force and rotational drive. The core and obliques transfer that power through the torso, while the forearms and wrists control the bat and deliver the final acceleration through the hitting zone. Developing these muscle groups is critical for producing higher bat speed, stronger contact, and increased exit velocity. How KILOGEAR Helps KILOGEAR training systems use distributed wearable resistance (KILOGEAR micro weights) to strengthen the key segments of the kinetic chain while athletes move naturally through sport-specific mechanics. By placing resistance across (KILOGEAR micro weights) the lower body, core, and forearms, athletes can train the muscles responsible for rotational power, bat acceleration, and force transfer without disrupting natural swing mechanics. This distributed resistance allows athletes to build explosive strength while maintaining the movement patterns used in hitting and throwing. The KILOGEAR Exit Velocity Kit helps athletes develop the explosive strength needed to generate greater bat speed, higher exit velocity, and increased throwing power while training with up to 6.5 pounds of total wearable resistance. Kit Configuration: The kit provides up to 2.5 pounds of wearable resistance, to start, for the upper body through the APEX Tee and KILOGEAR Forearm Bands, and up to 4 pounds of resistance for the lower body through the APEX Shorts. This balanced resistance helps athletes build strength through the same movements used in hitting and throwing while maintaining natural mechanics. The kit includes: APEX PRO TEE Develops rotational core strength that transfers directly to hitting and throwing mechanics. The added resistance helps athletes generate more powerful hip rotation and torso acceleration. KILOGEAR FOREARM BANDS Adds resistance to the forearms and wrists during swings and throws, helping improve bat control, swing speed, and arm strength while contributing to the total 2.5 pounds of upper body resistance. APEX PRO SHORTS Builds lower body power and stability, the foundation for explosive swings and high velocity throws. The shorts provide up to 2 pounds of starter resistance to help strengthen the hips and legs and improve force production through the kinetic chain. You can add weight as you train, up to 2 pounds per leg of four pounds total. KILOGEAR WEIGHTS The kit includes 6 packs of two KILOMICRO™ weights that can be distributed across the APEX PRO TEE and KILOGEAR FOREARM BANDS. Each weight weighs 0.25 pounds and allows athletes to train with adjustable upper body resistance while maintaining natural swing mechanics. The kit also includes 2 packs of to  KILOMAX™ weights for the APEX PRO SHORT.
