Cambridge Audio EXA100 Integrated Stereo Amplifier

SRP: $2399 Integrated Stereo Amplifier The beating heart of EX, our EXA100 integrated amplifier took three years to develop. Over a thousand days of dedicated tuning at our London HQ have resulted in a huge step up in power and performance. An amplifier for the modern age, lovingly Made By Music. A different class Boosted by trickledown technology from our flagship Edge M monobloc power amplifier, EXA100 uses its 100W of beautifully refined Class AB amplification to drive even high-end speakers with ease.  A legacy of innovation Our 1968 P40 amplifier was the first to feature a toroidal transformer, changing hi-fi forever. EXA100 continues that legacy with a shielded, ultra-quiet toroidal transformer, flanked by heavy-duty heat sinks for impeccable performance worthy of the P40 name. Flexible connectivity The EXA100 lets you listen your way. Balanced XLR inputs offer a premium analogue connection, while two sets of speaker outputs let you power music in two different rooms. Bass lovers can even add a subwoofer via the dedicated pre-out. The possibilities are endless. Designed to be seen and heard EXA100 isn’t just about sound. With its milled aluminium front panel and tactile knurled volume knob, it’s a statement piece that looks as powerful as it sounds. Small footprint, mighty presence Uncompromised Digital Audio With a hi-res DAC, HDMI eARC, and Bluetooth aptX HD, EXA100 is a digital powerhouse. No matter your source, it breathes new life into your music, TV, and more. Power Amp Mode Switch to Power Amp Mode, and EXA100 pairs seamlessly with any preamp—whether in a stereo or multi-channel setup. Smart protection with CAP Our Cambridge Audio Protection (CAP) system safeguards your amp and speakers by monitoring power and temperature in real time—so you can just listen, worry-free. Exceptional signal purity A four-layer printed circuit board reduces interference and preserves incredible detail and clarity in your music. Reservoir capacitor for deep, dynamic power EXA100’s specially selected reservoir capacitor ensures consistent, high-current delivery, giving it effortless control over dynamics and bass response. Heavy-duty performance heat sinks Oversized heat sinks efficiently dissipate heat, keeping EXA100 running at optimal performance for years to come.
