Evolution Steel Deck Rim Joist

The Evolution Steel Deck Rim Joist is a structural perimeter framing member for the Fortress Evolution steel deck framing system, forming the outer edge of the deck substructure and providing a flat, rigid edge for attaching decking, fascia, or trim. Constructed from 16-gauge galvanized steel with a textured black powder-coat finish, it resists warping, rotting, splitting, pests, and decay in outdoor environments where wood framing degrades over time. Measuring approximately 2" x 6" in an 8' length, it's available in blank, curved, 12" on-center, and 16" on-center profiles to match different joist spacing and deck edge configurations.
