Evolution Steel Deck Frame Joist Strap

The Evolution Steel Deck Frame Blocking is engineered to provide essential lateral support between joists in the Fortress Evolution steel deck framing system, dramatically improving overall deck stability and performance. Made from corrosion‑resistant, galvanized 16‑gauge steel with a durable textured black sand powder‑coat finish, these blocking components outperform traditional wood by resisting warping, twisting, rot, and decay, so your deck stays strong and level over time. Designed for easy integration with steel framing, the blocking helps prevent joist movement, reduce vibration, and increase rigidity — especially in high‑traffic areas or larger spans. Available in two lengths to match common joist spacings — 10″ for 12″ on‑center joist spans and 14″ for 16″ on‑center joist spans — each piece measures approximately 2″ wide by 2″ high for a precise, secure fit between joists. Ideal for both residential and commercial deck projects, Evolution Steel Deck Frame Blocking makes your frame stronger and more reliable while offering a low‑maintenance alternative to wood blocking.
