The Evolis Zenius 2 is a compact single-sided ID card printer built to do the essentials well: sharp, edge-to-edge dye-sublimation printing at 300 dpi for small and medium card runs, from a desktop footprint of just 7.3 pounds. Load a ribbon cassette, drop in up to 50 cards, and print professional photo IDs at up to 180 color cards per hour. One unit personalizes both contact smart cards (PC/SC, EMV 2000-1) and 13.56 MHz contactless credentials, including ISO 14443 A and B, ISO 15693, MIFARE, and DESFire.
