"Every Day's a Sunday"

“We had moved from London and found ourselves surrounded by some of the most beautiful landscapes you could ever imagine... I was totally overwhelmed and inspired to draw.” – Mackenzie Thorpe In this limited edition print, two figures stand quietly, leaning against a fence and gazing out at a peaceful, pastel-toned beach. With the moon faintly visible in a sky of soft blues and whites, the scene captures a moment of stillness and reflection. The simple clothing, especially the red head scarf, hints at humble lives filled with meaning and connection—perhaps inspired by Thorpe’s own family. The setting likely draws from Yorkshire’s coastal beauty, a region that deeply influences Thorpe’s work. This piece reminds us to pause, take in our surroundings, and find joy in simplicity. Even in stillness, love and appreciation can fill the space.
