Evening Pasture - Original Landscape Painting

Some of my happiest moments are spent quietly observing nature—watching birds in the distance, listening to the wind move through the trees, and simply standing still. Those moments bring me a deep sense of peace, and through my paintings, I hope to preserve that feeling and bring it into someone else's home. Created with acrylic inks on raw canvas, Evening Pasture was inspired by the quiet beauty of an open field as the day begins to wind down. Gentle layers of warm earth tones and soft skies settle naturally into the texture of the unprimed canvas, creating an atmosphere that feels peaceful, spacious, and timeless. In the distance, a lone horse grazes without urgency—a quiet reminder that some of life's most meaningful moments are the ones we almost pass by. This original landscape painting is part of my Between Sky and Earth collection, a series inspired by the places where changing skies, open horizons, and quiet encounters with nature invite us to slow down and simply be present. Thoughtfully finished in a handcrafted white oak frame, this one-of-a-kind piece was created to bring a sense of calm and connection with nature into the spaces we return to every day.
