The Dual Access Design combines traditional front and top loading features into one, truly revolutionary kiln design. The Studio Pro Series gives you the advantages of both front and top access in a single, dual hinged design that's smooth and precise. With a wide range of sizes, these are perfect for private studios and are capable of slumping, draping, fusing and painting. The Studio Pro series is available in a variety of control choice options including the ever-popular TAP Smart Controller as well as the solid state output option which will extend the life of your kiln! The Studio Pro 17 is the largest, and best selling personal design. Artists prefer its large 17" x 17" chamber while still operating on 120V. The Studio Pro 17 is constructed of both fiber and firebrick. A fiber lid is used to help speed up the process and gain temperature with ease. The firebrick walls and floor offer excellent heat-storage and annealing properties. This thoughtful design combines the best of both worlds to create the finest personal sized glass kiln available. Choose from a selection of controllers for simple and accurate firing. The Studio Pro 17 glass kiln comes with a free 2 year warranty. Features Front access to the chamber is perfect for glass placement, particularly with glass that can't be disturbed once placed Chamber is also accessible through the top, useful for venting and using manipulation tools that require a vertical approach such as glass embossing Fiber lid construction offers 50% faster heat-up than traditional 120V firebrick designs, about 50% faster, reducing or completely eliminates devitrification Equipped with a power interrupt switch which removes electrical power from all heating elements if either the lid or chamber is opened The Studio Pro 17 incorporates our Relay Access Port for simple, no-panel-off relay replacement. Versatility in operating location means you can place the kiln on a counter or work bench, or on the included stand Studio Pro 17 temperature controls are fitted to our Swing View Adjustable Enclosure. Quiet Drive Solid State Relay Evenheat's patented Quiet Drive Solid State Relay is hands down the best investment you can make in your kiln! With no moving parts, this relay is able to be triggered up to 60 times a second as opposed to the upper limit of 10 times a second on the default mechanical relay. This means incredibly tight temperature control ensuring each and every one of your firings is as accurate as possible. The Quiet Drive uses a special method call "Zero Crossing" that will ensure that the heating elements are off when the voltage is at 0V - Giving your heating elements a break so that they will last longer, and you'll save energy! The best part though? Since there are no moving parts - the Quiet Drive Solid State relay should never need replacing! You will save money and time by never needing to worry about this in the future! Controller Selection Evenheat has close relationships with the manufacturers of a variety of digital controllers. This means you will have nothing but the best the best in terms of performance and accuracy in your firings. With a selection of multiple controllers available - you can choose exactly what fits your needs. TAP Touchscreen Smart Controller by SDS Industries The top of the line. The bread and butter. The cream of the crop. The controller for those who want to make their lives easier, improve their craft, and make incredible quality products. Rampmaster 3 The Rampmaster 3 is built from Bartlett Instruments V6-CF platform and is designed primarily for glass work but works well for other applications including heat treating. The Rampmaster 3 features dedicated buttons and readout and is offered to those who don't want a touchscreen. As with all of our controls the Rampmaster 3 is paired with a low-error Special Limits thermocouple for very precise temperature sensing. Match it up with our Quiet Drive Solid State relay system and treat yourself to some serious performance with an old-school vibe. Icon+ The Icon+ starts with Bartlett's well-regarded Genesis platform and adds low-error Special Limits thermocouples for incredible precision. We also fit the Icon+ with a non-metallic faceplate for exceptional Wi-Fi reception for the Bartlett mobile App. These added features take the Icon+/Genesis to a performance level found nowhere else. Programming and use is easy and straight-foward. Performance is legendary and shines even brighter when paired with our Quiet Drive Solid State relay system. The Icon+ represents the ultimate combination of Bartlett control prowess and Evenheat design to offer the highest performing Genesis based control available. Icon The Icon is built around Bartlett's new Spark platform and brings touchscreen design to the market at a lower price point. The Icon / Spark was rigorously field-tested by Bartlett, Evenheat and others over the latter course of 2023. Programming was found to be clean and simple. User interaction with the display was deemed excellent. As expected our Quiet Drive Solid State relay system performed beautifully. As with all Evenheat control designs, the Icon adds to an existing control platform with improvements like low-error Special Limits thermocouples for precise temperature sensing and non-metallic faceplates for excellent Wi-Fi reception for the Bartlett mobile App.       Furniture Kit Furniture Kits are necessary accessories for any kiln owner as firing directly on the kiln floor is not only bad for the kiln, but your pieces as well. In addition to this, they're also useful! A furniture kit will allow you to stack multiple shelves on top of one another in order to maximize the useable space when firing smaller pieces. If you have one that will fit this kiln size already, then you're in luck! But if not, you'll want to ensure you add this to your order as well. Furniture Kit includes: One (1) 16" x 16" Shelf Four (4) 1/2" High Posts. All posts 1" square One (1) Haik Brush One (1) 24oz. Glass Separator   Kiln furniture can be special ordered separately, but if done so the cost is ~10-20% higher and will incur a separate shipping charge. It's best to include this on your initial order of the kiln. * Received shelves may contain surface imperfections such as scratches, discoloration or rough edge. These possible imperfections are understood and accepted by the buyer. Stand with caster wheels The standard order of this kiln comes with a stationary stand built to handle the weight, heat, and shape of the kiln. While this works perfectly fine, attempting to move your kiln can be a difficult maneuver and could result in a damaged stand, or worse - a broken kiln! Ordering a stand with caster wheels ensures the whole process of moving your kiln for any reason is a smooth and simple process. No longer worry about if you're running out of room within your garage - you can tuck your kiln away in a corner when it's not in use! And of course - if you're one for moving the kiln around the studio or other rooms, this is essentially a necessity. The height of this rolling stand is approximately 20".
