Evan's Corner

Evan's Corner introduces Evan, who lives in a crowded urban ghetto, in a two-room apartment with seven other members of his family. He longs for a place all to himself. With love and wisdom, his mother helps Evan select one corner in their home for his own. In the process, however, Evan learns that being happy is a feeling one gets from stepping out and helping others – and not from living alone in a "corner" like he thought.
