EVAC Systems SAR Pack – Personal Technical Rescue Backpack

The Industry Standard for Individual SAR Operators The Evac Systems Search & Rescue Pack (Original SAR Pack) is the personal loadout solution that set the benchmark for technical rescue teams. Unlike pure rope bags or hiking packs, this hybrid system allows a single rescuer to carry their share of the team's technical gear (rope and hardware) while simultaneously transporting the personal survival essentials (food, water, layers) needed for a long mission. Built from 1,000 Denier Cordura® Nylon, it is famously touted to "last longer than your knees."  Key Features Dual-Role Capacity: Offers 3,000 cubic inches of internal volume, split between technical rigging capability and personal sustainment storage. Dedicated Rope & Hardware Storage: The specialized rope compartment holds up to 200 feet of 1/2″ rescue rope, while the main compartment is lined with hardware holders and fasteners to secure carabiners, pulleys, and ascenders without clutter. Personal Sustainment: Features two large external pockets sized for extra layers, rations, or first aid kits, plus a dedicated sleeve sized for a water reservoir (hydration bladder) to keep you moving. External Lash Points: The front face is equipped with lash points/daisy chains, allowing you to strap on bulky items like helmets, crampons, or sleeping pads that don't fit inside. Why It Matters In Search and Rescue, you are the mule. You need a pack that balances the "team gear" you must carry for the rescue with the "personal gear" you need to survive the night. This pack strikes that balance perfectly, ensuring you arrive at the patient with the rope ready to deploy and your water easily accessible. How to Use Load Tech: Flake 200’ of rope into the bottom compartment. Rack your hardware on the internal loops. Load Personal: Slide a hydration bladder into the reservoir pocket. Stuff rain gear and food into the large outer pockets. Lash: Clip your helmet to the front lash points. Deploy: Hike to the scene. When rigging is required, access the rope and hardware immediately without dumping your lunch on the ground. Technical Overview The pack is constructed entirely from 1,000 Denier Cordura® Nylon, ensuring maximum abrasion resistance against rock and brush. Compliance & Origin Made in the USA
