EV Charging Site Engineering & Design Assessment Packages

Our EV Charging Site Engineering & Design Assessments provide a clear roadmap for developing EV charging infrastructure, no matter what stage of planning you’re in. Each package builds on the previous one, adding more detail, engineering depth, and readiness for permits. From the chart above, you can see how the packages progress: Foundation Package (Baseline): Includes basic layouts, transformer details, and a preliminary schedule. Concept Package: Adds a virtual survey and a conceptual design package (25% design level) with a budgetary estimate. Feasibility Package: Expands further with a detailed AHJ & Utility Coordination Report, outlining approval processes, utility upgrade needs, and associated costs. Permit-Ready Package: Delivers full permit-ready engineering drawings (IFP) and documentation, allowing you to move directly into permitting and contractor bidding. Included Items by Package Level: Comprehensive Site Plan Parking & Equipment Layout Options Electrical Single Line Drawings Transformer Details Preliminary Schedule Drone-Based 360° Site Survey (Concept and above) AHJ & Utility Coordination Feasibility Report (Feasibility and Permit-Ready) Issue-for-Permit (IFP) Drawings (Permit-Ready only) Whether you’re just exploring feasibility, preparing for utility coordination, or ready to submit for permits, we provide the engineering clarity, documentation, and cost projections you need to move your EV charging project forward with confidence. Option 1 – Foundation Package Best for: Customers starting their EV charging journey and needing a clear conceptual site view. What’s Included: Comprehensive site plan with charging areas mapped Proposed parking layout to optimize vehicle flow Multiple equipment layout options to compare scenarios Electrical single line drawing showing power distribution Transformer specifications and details Preliminary project schedule for planning purposes Delivery: 2–3 weeks Outcome: A solid starting point for visualizing your EV site and understanding the basic requirements.
