Eudialyte Polished Cabochon

We acquired this palm-sized burgundy, umber, mauve and cream 2.375" long Eudialyte Polished Cabochon from Russia, weighing 43 grams, or 1.5 ounces, over a decade ago, and now it's time for this treasure to go to its new home.    This rare mineral is found in large grained low silica igneous rock formations, and exhibits a reddish glow under a fluorescent light. Iron and manganese are often found in specimens of Eudialyte, and these minerals are responsible for eudialyte's reddish coloration. The black in eudialyte comes from aegerine inclusions. Aegirine is a rare and powerful mineral used in healing and meditation, first found in Norway, when it was named after the Norse God of the Sea.  Subtle energy healers and meditators have found that aegerine has a stimulating effect on the root chakra and the central nervous system, and often creates the subjective feeling of a "fluffed up" or expanded bio-energy field, stimulating the flow of Universal Life Force energy in the physical, etheric, astral, and mental bodies.  Eudialyte resonates with the energy of the root chakra, which has a red or black coloration in the Western chakra system. This remarkable mineral also is said to energize the heart chakra, stimulating feelings of self-love and flashes of unity consciousness. Eudialyte provides a feeling of protection, shielding the bearer from unwanted energies in the environment, while directing energy to the root chakra, helping to ground and center the bearer, assisting in the overcoming of paranoia, low self-worth, and feelings of alienation. Energizing the root chakra, eudialyte provides a feeling of protection, shielding the bearer from unwanted energies in the environment, while directing energy to the root chakra, helping to ground and center the bearer, assisting in the overcoming of paranoia, low self-worth, and feelings of alienation. Resonating with both heart and base chakras, eudialyte is said to be extremely beneficial for those engaged in spiritual practices designed to open the heart in compassion and unify consciousness with the web of life in which we dwell. Eudialyte can intensify feelings of loving kindness and is ideal for energy healing work, whether directed toward one's own health or designed to bring wellness into another's life. This crystal has been cleaned with Universal Life Force Energy, and given an energy attunement using Reiki, a Japanese technique of energy healing, so it will continue to receive and transmit Universal Life Force Energy direct from the Source of Creation.
