Etched Vanadinite Floater Cluster from Morocco

37.5 grams, 27mm x 23mm x 21mm Vanadinite is a striking mineral, notable for its vibrant, red-orange to brown hexagonal crystals. As a secondary mineral, it is formed by the alteration of lead ore deposits in arid climates or in oxidizing environments. The mineral's fascinating formation is a result of the chemical interaction of lead and vanadium minerals, with traces of chlorine and oxygen, often in limestone or as crusts and coatings on other minerals. Its characteristic color ranges from bright red and orange to brown or even colorless, depending on the mineral's specific chemical makeup. Despite being found in various parts of the world, fine specimens of Vanadinite are mainly sourced from Morocco and Arizona, USA. Highly valued for its spiritual and metaphysical properties, Vanadinite is known as a stone of perseverance and discipline. Its energy is believed to promote a focused mental state, aiding in concentration and facilitating deeper states of meditation. This makes it a popular choice for those undertaking intense mental tasks or seeking to maintain prolonged periods of concentration. Furthermore, it is also associated with the lower chakras, believed to aid in grounding and providing a deep sense of inner peace. Energetically, it's thought to encourage the conservation of physical energy and promote efficient use of one's personal energy stores. In crystal healing, Vanadinite is often used as a tool for exploring the concept of 'earth healing'.
