Essential Oils - Organic Bergamot

10 mL / 1/3 oz For a sunny disposition and lighthearted feeling, look no further than Organic Bergamot Essential Oil. This unique citrus oil is popular worldwide in the cosmetic, fragrance, and food industries; if you’re a tea drinker, you may recognize the light and refreshing notes it brings to your cup of Earl Grey! Once you smell Bergamot, you’ll recognize why it is so popular — its gorgeous aroma paired with a wide variety of therapeutic uses. The distinct citrus top note is layered with floral, herbaceous, and slightly sweet lavender-like notes, creating an unmistakably calming and uplifting experience with each inhale. The scent shines through negative emotions, like irritation and grief, while providing an uplifting sense of well-being. It can help relax nervous tension and even help calm digestive upsets triggered by stress. Organic Bergamot’s cooling and refreshing character also makes a lovely addition to your natural beauty routine. Add to skin toner DIYs to promote clear, healthy skin, or blend with your favorite carrier oils or body creams to brighten your day! Our Organic Bergamot oil is a wonderful addition to natural skincare products because it is free of bergapten, a furanocoumarin compound that can cause photosensitizing effects. This means you can dilute and apply our Organic Bergamot topically and enjoy a day in the sun without worrying about skin sensitivity or irritation.
