Espresso - Teramo

Roast = Medium Dark Description = Rich, Toffee, Smooth Our Teramo Espresso is the backbone of our espresso offerings and one of our most popular coffees. One taste and you’ll see why. It’s rich, smooth, and full of sweet toffee flavor. An instant classic that you can now brew in the comfort of your own home.  Espresso coffee can be made with a wide variety of coffee beans and roasts. Espresso is generally thicker than coffee brewed by other methods, has a higher concentration of suspended and dissolved solids, and has crema on top (a foam with a creamy consistency.  You will most likely want to use a special espresso machine to make an espresso-based coffee drink with our Teramo Espresso. Our longstanding relationships in coffee communities have helped facilitate several projects at coffee-origin communities. The coffee beans used to make this espresso came from The Human Bean’s Colombia project. The Colombia Farm Friendly Project consists of building and also repairing septic and sanitary units within coffee-growing communities. This was a three-year project.  The goal was to build 55 total new septic and sanitary units.  Also, we repaired 22 sanitary units.  The units provide a quality of life increase for all of the farmers and community members where they are built. The Human Bean does not just purchase and roast exceptional coffees. We are also committed to being responsible global citizens. Our Farm Friendly Direct programs allow us to acquire exceptional Arabica coffees while simultaneously recognizing that the farmers’ quality of life is vital to maintaining sustainable growing and harvesting practice.  We realize that together we can both promote ethical farming practices and protect the environment at the same time. Through our Farm Friendly Direct program, we are making it possible for green bean farmers and their communities to achieve a higher quality of life and produce premium coffees. *Please note that all coffee purchases are shipped separately from our Apparel, Accessories, Stickers, Gift Cards, and drinkware.
