Heat-Friendly Fiber: Style the Waves Your Way, Up to 300°F Esme is made with Alexander Couture's heat-friendly synthetic fiber — which means you can use heat tools to adjust, refine, or completely restyle the waves. Flat irons, curling wands, and other heat styling tools can be used up to a maximum of 300°F, giving you the flexibility to wear Esme's soft Hollywood waves loose and voluminous as they come, tighten them for a more defined curl, smooth them for a sleeker wave, or straighten them for an entirely different look from the same wig. Heat-friendly fiber has a built-in style-memory property: once you apply heat to set a style, it holds through daily wear and through washing until you apply heat again. After washing, the style you have set returns as the fiber air-dries. For best results, heat-style on dry fiber in small, controlled sections with a professional-grade tool at or below 300°F, use a heat protectant formulated for heat-friendly synthetic fiber, and allow the fiber to cool completely to lock in the style. Cap Construction: Natural-Looking From Hairline to Crown Extended Lace Front — A Seamless, Versatile Hairline Esme's extended lace front provides a seamless, natural-looking hairline across the full front perimeter — reaching beyond the standard lace front width for a convincing hairline at every angle. For a long Hollywood-wave style where the hair frames the face at close range throughout every daily wear, the extended lace front is what makes the front of the style undetectable. Individual hairs are hand-tied through ultra-fine lace that blends with all skin tones, creating the appearance of hair growing directly from your skin. The extended lace front also enables versatile styling — the long waves can be swept back from the face, parted on either side, or worn directly forward, all while the hairline remains convincing throughout every configuration. Lace Partial Monofilament Top — Natural Parting and Multidirectional Crown Styling The lace partial monofilament top creates a realistic scalp appearance at the crown and part — individual hairs sewn through fine lace and sheer mesh at the top of the cap, each reading as natural hair growth and allowing the hair to be parted at any position across the monofilament area. For a long wavy style where the part and the crown movement are defining elements of the look, the lace partial monofilament top is what makes the parting convincing from above and allows the waves to fall naturally from whatever part position you choose. Combined with the extended lace front, Esme delivers natural-looking results at the two most scrutinized points of any long style — the hairline and the crown. The Style: Soft, Loose Hollywood Waves Esme is a long, glamorous, Hollywood-wave style — the specific soft, loose, cascading wave character that has defined red-carpet glamour for decades. The waves are soft rather than tightly coiled — loose, flowing, and effortlessly voluminous — the specific wave character that creates the most body and movement from a long style at 6.8 oz. At a crown length of 14.5" and a nape length of 16.5", Esme is a genuinely long style that falls well past the shoulder with the full cascading presence of dramatic long hair. The fringe at 11.5" is not a short bang but a long face-framing section — hair at the front of the style that falls at approximately collar to mid-chest level, framing the face with the long, sweeping, cheek-adjacent sections of a Hollywood wave rather than a cropped fringe. Alexander Couture's own description of Esme captures the character precisely: "soft, loose Hollywood waves that cascade effortlessly for a timeless, red-carpet finish." The premium heat-friendly synthetic fiber mimics the look, feel, and natural movement of biological hair — giving Esme the specific flowing, light-catching, naturally-present quality of genuinely long glamorous hair. Washing and Care Gently detangle before washing with a wide-tooth comb or fingers, working from ends toward the cap. Dilute a small amount of synthetic wig shampoo formulated for heat-friendly fiber in cool water and soak for approximately 10 minutes — do not rub, wring, or agitate. Rinse thoroughly with cool water. Apply a conditioner formulated for heat-friendly synthetic fiber, diluted in cool water, and rinse thoroughly. Gently press dry with a towel without twisting. Air dry on a wig stand — the style you have set returns as the fiber dries. To restyle, use heat tools up to a maximum of 300°F on dry fiber in small sections with a heat protectant, and allow to cool completely to lock in the new style. Store on a wig stand to maintain the wave pattern and cascade shape. Who Esme Is For You want a long, glamorous Hollywood-wave style with the freedom to heat-style it.
