ES Lab EHT-LPS Linear Power Supply

ES Lab EHT-LPS linear power supply for the EHT-7 energizer The ES Lab EHT-LPS is a dedicated linear power supply for the EHT-7 electrostatic headphone energizer. It uses an audio-grade R-core transformer, dual LT3045 voltage regulators, selected filtering capacitors, and EMI filtering to deliver stable 15V DC power with reduced high-frequency noise. Dedicated EHT-7 compatibility Designed specifically for the ES Lab EHT-7 energizer, the EHT-LPS provides up to 1A through a two-pin GX-16 output connection. The specified output pinout assigns pin 1 to positive and pin 2 to ground. Linear power architecture The linear circuit is designed to provide cleaner, more stable electricity than a conventional switching supply. Reduced high-frequency noise and ripple provide deep bass response, fast transients, and richer dynamics. Audio-grade R-core transformer An R-core power transformer forms the foundation of the supply. This transformer design is paired with carefully selected regulation and filtering components for consistent power delivery to the EHT-7. Dual LT3045 regulation Two LT3045 voltage regulators provide low-noise voltage regulation. They help maintain a stable DC output as the connected energizer operates. Selected filtering components Nichicon Fine Gold and Elna Silmic II capacitors are used in the filtering stage. Dedicated EMI filtering further limits electrical interference before power reaches the connected energizer. CNC aluminium chassis The internal power circuitry is housed in a CNC-machined aluminium chassis. The front panel includes a power-status indicator, while the rear panel provides AC input, a power switch, and the dedicated DC output connection.
