Eriosyce setosiflora

Eriosyce setosiflora Family: Cactaceae. Sometimes called Neochilenia heinrichiana var. setosiflora.  A beautiful dark purple cactus with short spines.  Like most Eriocyse, this species forms a tap root . Flowers are yellow to light orange.  Requires general cactus care, but be careful not to overwater as tap rooted species are more sensitive to rot.  Protect from frost, though it is said to be able to withstand light frost. Plant needs good light to maintain the dark purple color, but be careful not to expose it to a lot of direct summer sun. You will receive a plant shown in the last image. Plants shown in a 4" pot. Important Shipping Information PLANTS ARE SHIPPED BARE ROOT If you want me to send them in pots send me a message to discuss. Extra charges due to increased shipping costs will apply. Immediate Payment (eBay only) Sorry! I can no longer offer a delayed purchase option as the multichannel inventory management system I have started using requires this setting. No Delayed Shipping (eBay only) Once you pay I have to (and WILL) ship within 3 business days or eBay will lower my seller rating. I used to have a way to delay shipping but can no longer do this for the same reason as #2 above. Feel free to message me before buying to see if we can figure something out here, no promises though. Winter Shipping If you live in a cold climate consider including a 96 hour heat pack in your order during the cold months. I have them as a listing. Just add it to your order. If you don’t see them just message me. Thank you!
