A damaged or worn strainer lid clamp can cause air leaks, priming problems, water leaks, reduced pump performance, or unsafe equipment operation. Replacing worn clamp and gasket components helps the pump maintain a strong seal at the strainer lid, which is especially important in high-flow commercial pool systems. This can improve service reliability, reduce downtime, and help prevent unnecessary replacement of larger pump components. For pool professionals, this kit is a practical OEM repair solution for maintaining Pentair EQ-Series commercial pump systems.
