Soil Preference: Avoid conventional soil and opt for a bark-based orchid mix or mount the plant on wood or tree fern for optimal growth and development. Watering: Maintain a regular watering schedule, allowing the growing medium to slightly dry between waterings to prevent the dreaded root rot. Sun Requirements: Position Epidendrum difforme in an environment with bright, indirect light to foster healthy growth and vibrant blooms. Shield from direct sunlight, as excessive exposure may lead to leaf scorching, while insufficient light can hinder flowering.
