EPI 200B Refoam Kit (F8-2 & F12-2)

EPI 200B 8″ Woofer & 12″ Passive Refoam Kit This kit will fit the EPI 200B speakers. Each Refoam Kit includes all the materials needed to repair two (2) 8″ woofers and two (2) 12″ passives: – Refoaming Instructions – Two 8″ Foam Surrounds for the woofers (F8-2) – Two 12″ Inverted Foam Surrounds for the passives (F12-2) – Shims For Centering the 1″ Voice Coils for the Woofers.  No shims or dust caps needed for the 12″ passives – Two 1.9″ Paper Dust Caps for the 8″ Woofers Only – 1 Bottle of Specially Formulated Foam Surround Adhesive (Dries Clear) *It can be difficult to refoam a speaker without removing the dust cap and inserting the plastic shims. The plastic shims are used to center the voice coil and cone assembly while the speaker is being refoamed.  If you do not use the plastic shims, the voice coil may be off center and it may lead to the voice coil rubbing.  8″ Woofer A – Outside diameter of the surround = 7.75″ B – Roll ends                                           = 6.938″ C – Roll starts / O.D. of the cone         = 6″ D – Inside diameter of the surround = 5.5″ Angled attachment to cone 12″ Inverted Passive Radiator A – Outside diameter of the surround = 11.5″ B – Roll ends                                            = 10.625″ C – Roll starts / O.D. of the cone         = 9.44″ D – Inside diameter of the surround   = 9″ Flat attachment to cone
