EO Signature Set

The Signature Set: The Quintessence of Ensar Oud In a world of mass-produced dilutions and synthetic “notes” that vanish like a ghost, the EO Signature Set stands as a defiant monument to the raw, the rare, and the real. This collection serves as an educational journey through the pillars of high perfumery, composed by the man who broke the gates down. Each signature composition represents a fundamental aromatic pillar—reimagined through the lens of Sultan-grade materials and the “mad” artisanal standards that have defined the Ensar Oud legacy for over two decades. From the rugged leather of the cuir tradition to the mythical animalics of forgotten eras, this set is your masterclass in scent. EO No 1: Assam (The Leather King) The journey begins where the legend started, now distilled into its most iconic regional form. EO 1: Assam is the bridge between the rustic world of artisanal oud and the heights of classical French perfumery. Built on a foundation of genuine raw ambergris tincture and heavy, barn-rich Assamese Oud, this is a tobacco-heavy, old-school leather jacket aroma. It is the scent of a Cuban lit by Hemingway; a rugged, “Don Corleone” elegance that pairs the king (Assam Oud) with his crown (Leather). EO No 2: Tonkin (The Primal Roar) If No 1 is the king, EO 2: Tonkin is the spirit of the mountain. Centered around the legendary “comet” of the Sultan’s vault, this edition is framed entirely around the profile of Tonkin Musk. Eschewing the clean, watery synthetics of the modern lab, this is a tribute to the cornerstone of fragrance. It features a “smack-in-the-middle-of-lockdown” treasure: an animalic, zesty, treacle-like bite that makes professional perfumers tremble. It is an R-rated scent of steaming bedroom sweat and ancestral luxury. EO No 3: Hokkaido (The Crystalline Rose) EO 3: Hokkaido is the evolution of the classic Ghalia, defined by the most unique rose in existence. For years, the star was missing—the elusive Japanese Rosa Rugosa. Now reclaimed through a special batch made specifically for us, the Hokkaido rose creates a profile that is crystalline and ethereal. By pairing this Japanese rose otto with aged Myitkyina and wild Malaysian Ouds, No 3 transcends the typical “rose-oud” cliché. It is an elegant, complex masterpiece pampered with the rarest musk. EO No 4: Samtura (The Oud Cola) The “Cola” note is an olfactory phenomenon—a fizzy, resinous, and deeply addictive chord. EO 4: Samtura is the Ensar Oud answer to this infatuation, utilizing the unique profile of Samtura Oud to drive the “fizz.” Moving beyond simple soda pop, this is a dense, syrupy masterpiece. It utilizes vanilla, tamarind, and opoponax drenched in the dark contrast of vintage oud to capture the sizzle and the medicinal bite of a “purple” elixir. It is proof that even a modern obsession can be elevated to high art. EO No 5: Kelantan (The Sultan’s Soul) The final movement in the Signature Set brings us back to the source. EO 5: Kelantan is the “Oud and Oud” theme—a scent based entirely around our legendary Sultan Series. Featuring the deep, resinous, and storied profile of Kelantan Oud, this is a recursive loop of excellence. In a market of “one brushstroke” perfumery, No 5 is a symphony where the solo instrument and the orchestra are both pure, unadulterated Oud. It is the purest expression of the Ensar Oud identity—unfiltered, uncompromising, and unmatched. “I insist on these insanities because to me, and people like me, there IS a difference. You smell low-grade or lab-made oud and all you can do is laugh… to any oud novice the difference is red and blue.” — Ensar
