Enviro Gard 2

Hotsy Enviro Gard 2 is a specialized pressure washer detergent from Hotsy engineered for use with filtration‑type or gray‑water recycling systems — especially where you want to separate oils and greases quickly and minimize buildup in recycling/filtration equipment. 🧼 What It Is A phosphate‑free, biodegradable liquid detergent formulated to release oils and greases rapidly for maximum separation in recycle systems. Designed as a quick‑release cleaner that avoids emulsifying soils so they can be more easily captured and removed by filters rather than dispersed in the water. Typically supplied in liquid form (e.g., 5 gal and 55 gal sizes) and also available in super concentrate kits for on‑site dilution. 📊 Key Specs pH: ~10.5 at 5% solution (moderately alkaline) Foaming Action: Medium – good soil lifting without excessive foam that can interfere with recycling systems Dilution Ratio: ~1:60 (varies by soil level and system) Color: Clear liquid; scent: none/neutral Phosphate‑Free & Non‑Emulsifying: Helps prevent soap and soil locking into water, aiding filtration and reuse rather than waste discharge. 🚚 Typical Uses Enviro Gard 2 is especially useful when pressure washing in situations where water is being filtered and reused, such as: Filtration/gray water recycle systems that separate oils and greases before returning water to service Fleet wash bays or commercial facilities that aim to reduce wastewater discharge and regulatory costs General cleaning where you want to minimize emulsion and maximize soil separation for easier disposal 🧴 How It Works Enviro Gard 2 is sprayed through the pressure washer like other Hotsy detergents, but its chemistry is tailored to let oils/greases “break free” of suspended soil and not form emulsions — making mechanical separation (e.g., by filters or gravity pits) more effective before water is recycled or discharged. ** 5 Gal bucket is subject to additional shipping charge **
