ENVE AR40 Wheelset

ENVE AR40 Wheelset is designed for riders who demand one wheelset that can handle fast road miles, unpredictable pavement, and light gravel adventures without compromise. Built around ENVE’s proven carbon rim technology, the AR40 delivers a balanced combination of aerodynamic efficiency, stability in crosswinds, and the durability required for modern all-road riding. The 40mm rim depth strikes an ideal middle ground. It’s deep enough to offer measurable aerodynamic gains at speed, yet shallow enough to remain predictable and composed in gusty conditions. Whether you’re pushing tempo on open roads or navigating mixed terrain routes, the AR40 maintains confident handling and consistent performance. Optimized for Modern All-Road Riding The ENVE AR40 Wheelset is engineered around a wider internal rim profile that supports today’s higher-volume road and all-road tires. This rim architecture improves tire shape and sidewall support, enhancing cornering grip and ride stability. Paired with tubeless compatibility, the system allows riders to run lower pressures for improved comfort and traction without sacrificing rolling efficiency. ENVE’s carbon layup is developed to balance strength and weight, providing the responsiveness road riders expect while maintaining the impact resistance needed for rough pavement and gravel sectors. The result is a versatile carbon wheelset that feels lively under acceleration yet composed over broken surfaces. Aerodynamic Efficiency with Real-World Stability Rim shaping on the AR40 focuses on real-world aerodynamics rather than tunnel-only numbers. The profile is optimized to work efficiently with modern tire widths, reducing drag while maintaining crosswind stability. This means you can hold speed on exposed stretches without fighting unpredictable steering input. The ENVE AR40 Wheelset also benefits from precise construction and tension control, contributing to long-term durability and consistent braking performance (for disc-equipped systems). It’s a wheelset built to perform across a wide range of riding conditions. ENVE AR40 Wheelset Highlights Rim Depth: 40mm carbon profile for balanced aero performance.
