Enlightenment - Ornament

'Enlightenment' is a modern interpretation of the historic vanitas and memento mori genres. Drawing inspiration from 17th-century Dutch Master paintings and the moody chiaroscuro lighting of the Renaissance and Baroque periods, this piece employs powerful symbolism to explore the universal themes of life's transience and the inevitability of death. This ornament features a hand-selected print and has a ring and ribbon for easy hanging. Prints are protected by a layer of resin, saturating color and highlighting detail. Ornament measures 4" x 4.92”
