EndoZin™ - 60 Capsules

Description  Klaire Labs EndoZin™ Supports Gut Barrier Health EndoZin™ nutritionally supports the health and integrity of the gastric and intestinal mucosa by providing unique, patented zinc L-carnosine together with L-glutamine. The combined actions of these nutrients may help relieve mild gastric discomforts—such as occasional heartburn, nausea, bloating, and upset stomach—while supporting the integrity of the GI mucosa. Zinc carnosine has been shown in multiple clinical trials to help protect the stomach lining and promote gastrointestinal comfort. Studies show zinc carnosine promotes healthy mucus secretion, exerts antioxidant properties, and modulates cytokine expression, thus helping protect the stomach and small intestine. L-glutamine promotes small intestinal cell function and mucosal integrity to further support gastric function and protect tissues. This patented, 1:1 chelate of zinc and l-carnosine provides a unique configuration that accounts for this compound's unique functions in the GI tract. Zinc-carnosine has a slow dissociation rate and adheres to the stomach lining, allowing for prolonged protection. When zinc and carnosine are separated, they provide synergistic antioxidant protection, support the stomach's mucosal defenses, buffer gastric acid, and maintain healthy cytokine release. According to studies, this combination is more effective than either ingredient alone in maintaining the integrity of the gastric lining. A Japanese multi-center, double-blind study involving 299 subjects found improvements in objective and subjective parameters of normal gastric health and repair, particularly after 8 weeks of daily supplementation. Seven additional clinical trials involving over 550 volunteers yielded similar results. In vitro and in vivo studies show that zinc-carnosine promotes cellular repair in the intestine by promoting healthy cell reproduction and villous function.Zinc-carnosine maintained healthy gut barrier function in a double-blind, randomized, crossover trial. This zinc-carnosine combination has been extensively researched and used in Japan, and it has an excellent safety profile.  Helps Protect and Support Gastric and Intestinal Mucosal Lining Medications such as NSAIDs, environmental stressors, and ingested bacteria can alter the structure and function of the delicate lining of the stomach and small intestine. EndoZin™ supplies zinc-carnosine, a molecular complex that provides greater benefit than either zinc or carnosine used separately. The efficacy of this unique complex has been demonstrated in dozens of clinical trials. It works by supporting the body’s own protective mechanisms of the stomach lining without interfering in normal digestive processes or mineral absorption, the way some antacids can do. Zinc carnosine has also been shown in clinical studies to support mucosal cell regeneration, which encourages a healthy GI microbiota. EndoZin™ supplies zinc-carnosine at levels documented in clinical trials to provide benefit. Supports Gastrointestinal Healing L-glutamine, the most abundant amino acid in the body, is a primary energy source for enterocytes (cells lining the intestine) and is essential for supporting gut barrier integrity. Physical and environmental stress to the GI tract may increase utilization of this important nutrient. EndoZin™ provides L-glutamine to promote intestinal health and mucosal integrity. Promotes Gastrointestinal Comfort Both zinc-carnosine and L-glutamine support sensitive gastrointestinal tissue from irritants that can adversely affect tissue health and intestinal comfort. L-glutamine supports mucosal integrity and repair while zinccarnosine helps enhance mucosal secretion, the natural protective barrier of the stomach, without negatively affecting digestive acid production.
