Endless Sky Gilded Northern Lights – Gold Metallic

Bring the glow of the aurora into a quilt with this northern lights quilting fabric from Endless Sky by Chong-A Hwang for Timeless Treasures. Sweeping ribbons of emerald, teal, turquoise, and vivid blue flow across a darker blue background, creating an abstract interpretation of the Aurora Borealis. Fine sprays of gold metallic shimmer follow portions of the moving color, adding a luminous effect that looks especially striking across larger uninterrupted sections. Made from 100% cotton metallic fabric and measuring 44/45″ wide, this print is a versatile choice for quilt borders, large blocks, bags, pillows, wall hangings, and other projects where flowing color can take center stage. The abstract composition has no rigid repeat to align, so each cut can reveal a different blend of blue, green, and gold. Smaller pieces become painterly color accents, while broad areas preserve the sweeping movement that gives the print its dramatic sky-inspired appearance. This northern lights quilting fabric coordinates naturally with the Endless Sky forest prints, sparkle skies, and matching panel. Use it around the panel to extend the aurora color outward, cut it into wide borders that showcase the movement, or combine it with dark navy and black solids for high contrast. The gold metallic accents add a refined light-catching detail without overpowering the vivid blue-green color, making the fabric suitable for both contemporary and scenic quilt designs. For a contemporary quilt, let the flowing aurora print span wide blocks or borders rather than cutting it into very small pieces. The larger surface allows the color transitions to remain visible, while nearby black or deep navy fabrics can frame the movement and intensify the glow of the metallic gold.
