Eating (End Picky Eating) ~ Subliminal

End Picky Eating — Picky eating can become a habit that young people never outgrow. Peeling the crust from bread is one such example that many adults retain throughout their entire lives. As harmless as this may be, refusing to eat vegetables is not quite so innocuous. The fact is, picky eating can actually come under the label of a disorder known as restrictive food intake disorder. It is described as, “A type of eating disorder, as well as feeding disorder, where the consumption of certain foods is limited based on the food's appearance, smell, taste, texture, brand, presentation, or a past negative experience with the food.” Variety is the healthy food of life! Picky eating can lead to weight loss, nutritional deficiencies, and more. We live at a time when the availability of healthy food is abundant all year. Eating the same restricted diet week after week no longer makes any sense. One of the best ways to eat healthfully is to eat a variety of foods. While this program was originally designed for children, it will help everybody to enjoy eating a varied, healthy diet. Sample Affirmations "I enjoy chewing my food. I enjoy eating healthy foods.
