The Encounter is an economy model earthship, with a simplified south sloping metal roof with no perforations, to minimize maintenance and leaks over time. For colder climates, this roof exposes snow load on the roof to the sun, melting it and avoiding ice damming in your gutters. ***Michael Reynolds architect stamp NOT INCLUDED*** Michael Reynolds is a licensed architect in the following states and territories: Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New York, & Puerto Rico If you want Michael Reynolds to be your architect and stamp your drawings, please email reception@earthship.com before making your order!
