Enamel Collections

Enamel Collections is an expression of love's radiance. In 1962, Jean Schlumberger introduced the vibrant Croisillon enamel bracelet at Tiffany & Co. The modern jewelry pioneer and legendary House designer is credited with helping revive paillonné enameling, a rare 19th-century art form that creates intense hues. Forged through heat and meticulous craftsmanship, each layer of enamel builds upon the last like love itself, revealing a depth that endures through time. The complex process—repeated multiple times for every color—involves layering individually cut and hand-textured 18k gold or silver foils, known as 'paillons,' and meticulously ‘painted’ vitreous enamel in an alternating pattern until the material achieves a vivid color. Tiffany artisans are among a handful of master craftspeople worldwide that possess the skill to execute this exceptionally complex technique. Wear this distinctive Croisillon ring on its own or partnered with Croisillon bangles in various colors for a striking look.
