"Empire" offers a brilliant color pallet with a hint of a cityscape taking form. Phenylethylamine crystals, a substance found in chocolate, were grown on a microscope slide by evaporation then photographed through a microscope. The crystals create the rich colors by the refraction of light passing through the prism-like crystalline array.
