The base of this striking tea blend is a ceremonial-grade Tencha, produced for Rare Tea Cellar in Kyoto, Japan. Tencha is the tea traditional tea of the samurai and has been used in Japanese tea ceremonies for centuries. This special green tea, which is the precursor to matcha, presents a mild, incredibly smooth infusion that rolls down the tongue. The value of the high-grade Tencha is elevated even further with the addition of 24k gold leaf, contributing a sparkle worthy of the tea’s history. Quantity:  1 tablespoon per 12oz.
