Emile Henry Small Rectangular Tart Dish

Great for everything from rustic fruit tarts to classic quiche, this beautiful baker pairs a modern sensibility with time-honored French construction techniques. Made of Burgundy clay, it diffuses heat gently and evenly for delicious results every time, and safely moves directly from freezer to oven to table. The durable, attractive glaze is resistant to both scratching and chipping and will not hold baked-on food so cleanup is always easy. Produced one at a time, each piece of Emile Henry cookware is formed and hand-finished by skilled artisans in France. Founded in 1850, Emile Henry has a worldwide reputation for manufacturing fine-quality ceramic ovenware, gourmet cooking products, and bakeware products. The company takes advantage of the mineral-rich clay in the French province of Burgundy where they are located, and uses this special clay as the basis of all their ceramic cookware for slow, even cooking and superior heat retention. Thanks to Burgundy clay, all Emile Henry products exhibit extraordinary thermal shock properties, meaning they can go from freezer to oven, broiler or microwave without concern. Crack- and chip-resistant surfaces allow you to cut directly on surface without scratching or damaging.
