Emile Henry Modern Classics Square Baker, 8"

Perfect for vegetable gratins, baked pasta dishes, fruit crisps and more, this handsome baker pairs a modern sensibility with time-honored French construction techniques. Produced one at a time, each piece of Emile Henry’s Modern Classics collection is formed and hand-finished by skilled artisans. Founded in 1850, Emile Henry has a worldwide reputation for manufacturing fine-quality ceramic ovenware, gourmet cooking products, and bakeware products. The company takes advantage of the mineral-rich clay in the French province of Burgundy where they are located and uses this special clay as the basis of all their ceramic cookware for slow, even cooking and superior heat retention. Thanks to Burgundy clay, all Emile Henry products exhibit extraordinary thermal shock properties, meaning they can go from freezer to oven, broiler or microwave without concern.
