Emerald Arrow Bosnian Pine Tree

A lush dark green beauty for your landscape The Emerald Arrow Bosnian Pine Tree stands out for its striking, very dark green foliage, which provides a rich pop of color in any yard or landscape. This conifer grows tall and slender, making it an excellent choice as a specimen tree, enhancing the visual appeal of your outdoor space. Its unique columnar form not only adds structure but also offers a lovely contrast against the lighter colors often found in garden design. Planting this tree is a fantastic way to create a focal point in your yard. It thrives in cold northern climates with mild, cool summers. As it matures, the Emerald Arrow Bosnian Pine Tree can become a stunning backdrop for your garden, serving both aesthetic and practical purposes, such as providing privacy and windbreaks. It’s a low-maintenance option, rewarding you with year-round beauty without demanding excessive care. Planting & Care 1. Planting: Plant or repot within 4 weeks of arrival. Remove the stake and ties at planting, as these are only for shipping. Choose a spot with well-drained soil and full sun exposure to help the tree establish strong roots. Dig a hole that is twice the width and the same depth as the root ball. Place the tree in the center of the hole, ensuring the top of the root ball is level with the soil surface. Backfill with soil and water thoroughly to remove any air pockets. Spread a 3 inch layer of soil 3 feet around the tree, pulling it back a few inches from the trunk. 2. Watering: Regular watering is essential during the first year to establish the roots. Once established, this tree benefits from occasional deep watering during dry spells. 3. Pruning: Pruning is generally unnecessary unless you want to maintain a specific shape. If needed, prune in late winter or early spring to promote healthy growth and keep its elegant form. 4. Fertilizing: Apply a balanced slow-release fertilizer in early spring to support new growth. Annual fertilization helps maintain the tree’s lush dark green foliage and overall vigor.
