DOG KNEE BRACE FOR ACL TEAR How to Measure Find the knee center To start measuring your dog's leg you will need to find the knee center. First, bend your dog's knee. You will feel two bumps at the front of the knee, one at the top and one at the bottom. The middle of these two bumps is the knee center. Thigh circumference Measure the circumference midway between the knee center and the bend of the groin. Tibia circumference Measure the circumference midway between the knee center and bend of the hock. It is NOT meant for CCL tears. ACTIVITY LEVEL The EMbrace Knee Support works well for dogs with lower activity levels. TREATMENT TIME The EMbrace Knee Support is great for short-term injuries expected to heal within 6 months. SUPPORT LEVEL This brace provides the lowest level of support, adding some support only when needed.
