Ember Red Light Therapy Panel for Sauna

Ember Red Light Therapy Panel for Sauna Available for pre-order now, shipping mid-October. The Ember Red Light Therapy Panel for Sauna is purpose-built to run inside a hot, humid sauna. With a sealed IP65-rated housing, an aluminum body, a 4-in-1 lens over every LED, and a 194°F max operating temperature, it's engineered to survive the conditions that ruin a standard red light panel — and bring full-spectrum red and near-infrared therapy directly into your sauna sessions. 384 medical-grade LEDs, four clinically-relevant wavelengths, and 175 mW/cm² peak irradiance in a compact footprint designed for personal saunas, corner installs, and dedicated wellness rooms. Why a Sauna-Safe Panel Is Different Standard red light therapy panels are not built for sauna environments. Heat, steam, and humidity destroy non-sealed electronics, melt plastic housings, and corrode connections. Most home panels are rated for ambient room temperatures only — running them in a sauna voids the warranty and risks failure. The Ember is engineered for sauna use from the ground up: IP65 sealed housing — dust-tight and protected against water jets, the industry-standard rating for wet-environment electronics Aluminum housing — no plastic to warp or off-gas in heat IP65-rated internal driver — sealed power supply inside the panel, not a separate brick that can't take the heat 194°F (90°C) maximum operating temperature — covers the full range of traditional and infrared saunas Internal cooling fan — actively dissipates heat to keep LEDs and driver in their operating range Specifications LED count: 384 LEDs Wavelengths: 630 nm · 660 nm · 810 nm · 850 nm (red + near-infrared) Irradiance: 175 mW/cm² max — 111 mW/cm² at 6", 90 at 12", 76 at 18", 59 at 24" Power consumption: 180W Housing: Aluminum IP rating: IP65 (dust-tight, protected against water jets) Max operating temperature: 194°F / 90°C Cooling: 1 internal fan Driver: IP65-rated, internal Voltage: AC 100–240V (works worldwide) EMF: 0.0 μT Flicker: None Controls: Touch keys with separate wavelength control Timer: 1–20 minutes, 1-minute intervals Pulse modes: 10 Hz and 40 Hz Brightness: 0–100% in 5% increments Independent Wavelength Control Unlike single-button panels, the Ember gives you separate controls for each of the four wavelengths. Run red only (630/660 nm) for skin-focused sessions, near-infrared only (810/850 nm) for deeper-tissue exposure, or all four together for full-spectrum coverage. Combine with the brightness, timer, and pulse settings to tailor every session. Where It Fits Personal infrared and traditional saunas — hang it, wall-mount it, or set it on the floor stand inside the cabin Wellness rooms and recovery suites — pairs with sauna sessions for combined heat + light protocols Smaller spaces where the larger Blaze won't fit but full-spectrum therapy is still wanted Three Ways to Mount It Every panel ships with everything needed to hang it or wall-mount it. The floor stand is the only mounting option sold separately. Hang it — the included hanging cable and pulley suspend the panel from the sauna ceiling. Wall-mount it — the included mounting hardware fixes the panel to a sauna wall for a permanent install. Stand it on the floor — the Sauna Series Floor Stand is a rolling iron base with two upright brackets that hold the panel upright. No tools, no drilling, and locking caster wheels so you can roll it into position, lock it in place, and move it aside afterward. $99, sold separately. How to Use Mount the panel securely inside your sauna using the included hanging kit, or set it on the Sauna Series Floor Stand for a free-standing setup with no drilling (sold separately). Plug into a properly rated outlet outside the sauna or into a sauna-rated electrical run. Power on, set the timer (1–20 minutes), select wavelengths, adjust brightness, and optionally engage pulse mode. Run your sauna session as normal. The panel operates safely up to 194°F. Let the panel cool with the sauna before powering off the supply. Frequently Asked Questions What makes this different from a regular Hooga panel? Standard Hooga panels (HG, PRO, ULTRA series) are designed for ambient room temperatures and are not rated for sauna use. The Ember has a sealed IP65 housing, an aluminum body, and a 194°F max operating temperature — purpose-built to survive heat and humidity that would damage a standard panel. Will it work in a traditional sauna (high heat) and an infrared sauna? Yes. The 194°F (90°C) operating ceiling covers the full range of both traditional and infrared sauna temperatures. Ember vs. Blaze — how do I choose? The Ember has 384 LEDs and a 180W draw, designed for personal saunas and tighter installs. The Blaze has 768 LEDs and a 340W draw for larger saunas, wider beam coverage, and full-body sessions. Both run the same four wavelengths at similar intensity — the Ember peaks at 175 mW/cm² and the Blaze at 185 — so the real difference is how much of you the light covers, not how strong it is. Does it include a stand or mount? Every panel ships with mounting hardware, a hanging cable, and a hanging pulley, so you can hang it or wall-mount it in your sauna out of the box. If you would rather not drill into a sauna wall, the Sauna Series Floor Stand is a rolling floor base that holds the panel upright with no tools ($99, sold separately). Can I leave it inside the sauna full-time? Yes — the IP65 rating and 90°C operating spec are designed for permanent sauna installation. Be sure power connections are routed safely per local electrical code. What's the warranty? Hooga panels carry a 3-year warranty. Contact us for sauna-specific installation guidance.
