Elysian Valhalla Shaving Soap 4oz

Product Overview Elysian Valhalla Shaving Soap is a premium tallow-based artisan shave soap inspired by Valhalla, the legendary hall of fallen warriors in Norse mythology. Designed by perfumers Jay Mann and Shannon Constantine Logan, this aromatic fougère begins with brilliant citrus, advances through an intensely aromatic heart of exotic spices and frankincense, and settles into a deep foundation of fossilized amber, cypress, balsam, saffron, silver fir, oakmoss, and tobacco. The fragrance is paired with a rich shaving soap formula featuring grass-fed beef tallow, aloe vera, babassu oil, coconut oil, castor oil, mango butter, shea butter, glycerin, kaolin clay, cashmere, and hyaluronic acid. The formula is designed to create a dense, protective lather with the slickness and cushion needed for a comfortable traditional wet shave. Quick Take A 4oz premium tallow shaving soap featuring an aromatic fougère of lime and lemon over nutmeg, black pepper, ginger, cardamom, and frankincense, finishing with fossilized amber, cypress, balsam, saffron, silver fir, oakmoss, and tobacco. As the fragrance develops, fossilized amber, cypress, balsam, saffron, silver fir, oakmoss, and tobacco create a deeper foundation that is woody, resinous, mossy, and richly atmospheric. Best For: Wet shavers who enjoy complex aromatic fougères, citrus and spice, incense and resins, forest-inspired woods, oakmoss, tobacco, and bold fragrances with a historical or mythological character. Performance Profile Valhalla is formulated with grass-fed beef tallow, stearic acid, babassu oil, coconut oil, castor oil, mango butter, shea butter, and glycerin to create a rich, creamy traditional wet shaving lather. Kaolin clay contributes to the formula while aloe vera and hyaluronic acid complement its skin-focused composition. When properly hydrated, the soap produces a dense lather designed to provide cushion and slickness between the razor and skin. The fragrance develops throughout the shave, moving from bright citrus into warming spices and frankincense before revealing its deeper amber, evergreen, oakmoss, and tobacco character. A Word from the Manufacturer Hidden inside the home of the Norse gods, there is said to be a majestic hall, a Valhalla. Its roof is made of golden shields, its lofty rafters made of spears, and its walls are lined with armor. Within these walls live the chosen warriors, brave men who were plucked freshly dead by Valkyries from the battle fields. These honorable soldiers join Odin's army in Valhalla to feast and fight in preparation for the great war at the end of days. Welcome to Valhalla. Valhalla is an aromatic journey into the mists of time, when men strove to secure their place in the afterlife through deeds of exceptional bravery and honor. The opening of this aromatic fougère is citrusy and bright, like sun glistening on golden shields, with notes of Lime Zest and Lemon Sfumatrice. The midnotes lead the charge with a spicy blend of Nutmeg, Black Pepper, Ginger CO2, Cardamom Absolute, and Frankincense Oman. We are assured of victory as we plunge into the base notes like a spear into a target, with Fossilized Amber, Cypress, Balsam, Saffron, Silver Fir, Oakmoss, and Tobacco.
