Elton John, 1977

PHOTOGRAPHER: TERRY O’NEILL Elton John sits in an elaborate fur-and-sequin costume, hair feathers forming a wingspan around his head, exaggerated white circle sunglasses on his face as he reads the newspaper – a headline reading “Elton says: ‘I will be there by helicopter’” on the back. This iconic photograph was taken when the musician was filming The Muppet Show in 1977, adding to its innocent charm. 16”x20” - Edition of 50 + 10 AP’s 20”x24” - Edition of 50 + 10 AP’s 30”x40” - Edition of 50 + 10 AP’s 48”x72” - Edition of 50 + 10 AP’s Sizes reflect paper size, not image size.
