This additional space makes it easier to sew multilayer projects, so there is no more struggling to fit thick fabrics like denim and fleece under your presser foot. You can raise the presser foot about 6mm (1/4˝) higher than the normal up position by exerting more pressure when lifting the presser foot. 91 NEEDLE POSITIONS The 782 has an unbelievable 91 needle positions. This allows for more detail in decorative stitches and incredible fine adjustments in all stitch creations. And with the 9mm stitch width, this sort of bold detail can be easily appreciated. FLOATING MODE Floating Mode can be a lifesaver when dealing with hard-to-feed fabrics. This advanced feature is something that you normally only see on industrial machines. Minimalize layer slippage and wrinkles by utilizing floating mode, where the presser foot is faintly elevated above the fabric, effortlessly sewing over thick seams. 9 LED LIGHTS | 1 RETRACTABLE LIGHT Elna has equipped the 782 with a superior lighting system. 9 bright LED lights are strategically placed in 4 different locations to ensure proper lighting to your workspace. A retractable Light is located on the head of the machine. Pull it out to engage the high light, and when you are finished, slide it shut to disengage.
