Ellis County Raw Honey

Rolen's Honeybees produces honey from their hives right here in Ellis County.  Raw honey has not been heated and filtered, which allows more of the natural taste and nutrition to be enjoyed. It is natural for pure honey to crystallize, but this does not lessen the taste or nutritional quality. No blending, filtering or heating, just strain the wax bits out and bottle. That’s why you get variations from jar to jar. It may not be the only honey you buy, but it will be one of the best. We love local raw honey for it's healing properties. It will soothe a sore throat, help with seasonal allergies because of it's immune-stimulating elements your body requires to adapt to its environment. For generations, people who have used honey for healing have also noted increased antioxidants, increased endurance, and energy, improved oral health, reduction of muscle fatigue, & relief from morning sickness. Mixing Raw Honey with cinnamon has been reported to help lose weight, relieve arthritis, bad breath, bladder infections, and upset stomachs. Even if you just use it as a sweetener in your tea you'll be giving yourself a healthy dose of Vitamin B6, Thiamin, Niacin, Riboflavin, Calcium, Copper, Iron, Magnesium, Potassium, Zinc, and Vitamin C. ***WARNING: Do not give to children under 1 year of age. Please consult your doctor if you have any questions regarding the benefits of local honey. I am not a doctor. Sold in glass jars.
