Designed in 1965 by Elio Martinelli, the Serpente Table Lamp is a quintessential piece of mid-century Italian design. Its sinuous, snake-like form features a swiveling upper arm that gracefully supports a domed, white opal methacrylate diffuser, providing soft, ambient illumination. Crafted with innovative materials and techniques of the era, this lamp embodies the Space Age aesthetic and is celebrated for its blend of form and function. An iconic design, the Serpente Lamp is part of the permanent collection at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
